Abstract
The aim of the thesis is to assess the operational reliability of selected assemblies of the trams by using stochastic models of reliability achieved. With the use of reliability figures to predict LCC costs.
In the theoretical part is at first described design of the traction bogie of tram INEKON 2001 TRIO. Traction bogie is divided into five assemblies. Further disclosed are systems preventive maintenance and basic stochastic methods designed to assess the reliability. In the practical part are first estimate of the probability distribution parameters using professional software WEIBULL ++. After estimating the parameters followed by simulation life cycle traction bogie for 30 years (ie. 1,8 million kilometres) with using a fault tree in the software BLOCKSIM. Reliability bogies are assessed according to the value of availability. In the last part are on based information of operator and professional estimate quantified predicted LCC costs.
