Abstract

This thesis deals with a numerical optimization of shape and simulation process of forming of a stabilizer clamp. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. Theoretical part consists of description of theory and practical part contains evaluation of tensile tests and design of material models. This thesis, also, describes state of the art of given topic and design of testing shape of the stabilizer clamp. Numerical simulations of forming process and design of the clamp were performed using finite element methods in two commercial software. Final part of the thesis includes evaluation of obtained results and final recommendations regarding fatigue life of the stabilizer clamp.
