Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of ambulatory paint repairs of aircraft, namely of the aircraft Boeing 737. The introduction of the thesis provides a short description of the reason for aircraft painting as well as the reason for the repairs. One part of the bachelor thesis is focused on the types and causes of paint damage. The materials used for the paint repairs and also the facilities necessary for the painting are presented in the following section. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the procedures of the paint repairs, one of these procedures concerns the paint repairs of aluminium surfaces and another one of composite surfaces. There is also a short part dealing with the safety at work. Finally, the thesis provides a possible solution for optimal paint repairs (in the case of this thesis the solution focuses on reducing the costs in the JOB AIR – CEAM company).
