Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the design of the preparation for the production of the Run- Out area by welding technology 135-GMAW. The theoretical part describes the characteristics of the technology, possibilities and purpose of forming the weld in the Run-Out area. The following sections describe the state of current welding technology of boom, especially the method of transverse welds. Furthermore, the design of the clamping magnetic fixture for Run-Out areas, including the actual verification in practice on the product. The conclusion of the thesis is the evaluation of welding parameters on the testing products and their influence on the final design of the weld joint together with photo documentation, assessment of the product return, technical-economic evaluation of the benefit and a list of potential risks of the proposed change of welding.
