Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with electric discharge machining, describes its history, acquaints with the essence of electric discharge machining as a process, which uses electric discharge for machining and requirements for it. It also analzes the material composition of used electrodes. The section about technical and economic evaluation, analyzes the shape design of assessed electrodes and eventually comparison and wear rate of specific electrodes made from graphite EXD-6 and copper.
