Racionalizace frézování tvarových ploch s využitím CAM systému

Abstract

The master's thesis deals with the use of spindle milling cutters for finishing operations in 5-axis machining and compares their efficiency with ball milling cutters. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the use of ball and spindle milling cutters and their distribution. Methods of evaluating surface roughness and mathematical formulas for calculating the surface roughness of a surface machined with a ball and spherical milling machine are derived and used in the thesis. The practical part describes the machines, tools and cutting conditions used and the parameters used in the experiment. Subsequently, surface roughness measurements of all samples, geometric accuracy measurements and subsequent evaluation of the results are carried out. The paper also compares the machining times of the spindle and ball milling machines with respect to surface roughness.
