Studie alternativního pohonu rotorů vrtulníku

Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with replacement of conventional propulsion of helicopter tail rotor by alternative propulsion system. The theoretical part of bachelor’s thesis contains brief history of helicopter power units, then are described helicopter aerodynamics, fuels used in aircraft powerplants, and characteristics of transmission of Mi-17 helicopter. In practical part presented thesis analyzes options of propulsion replacements, compares them with each other and points out its differences. In this part is submitted design of technical documentation for addressed alternative propulsion replacement.
