Abstract
The master’s thesis deals with the reverse analysis and subsequent production of food processor gears wheel. The current gearbox is subject to significant gear wear. The technical documentation, material composition, and manufacturing method of these gears are unknown. As part of the work, the gearbox was disassembled, the gears were scanned using a 3D scanner, modeled based on individual scans, and technical drawings were created. Furthermore, a material analysis of the original gears was performed. The gears were printed on a 3D printer using the SLM method from 316L and Maraging steel M300, and then mechanically finished. Finally, the printed gears were scanned again and compared with the original ones using a color deviation map. The results show that the dimensional accuracy of the printed gears was within a tolerance of ±0,1 mm.
