Abstract
This project explores the integration of industry 4.0 principles within the Indian manufacturing industry, focusing on the infusion of key enablers such as Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), real-time optimization, and cloud computing. Through a comprehensive analysis, the project aims to investigate the potential benefits and challenges associated with the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies in the Indian manufacturing context. By leveraging IIoT for real-time monitoring and data collection, implementing CPS for seamless interaction between physical and digital systems, utilizing real-time optimization techniques, and harnessing the power of cloud computing for scalable and flexible infrastructure, the project seeks to enhance efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness within the Indian manufacturing sector. Through this case study, this project reduces 88% of manual activity time in planning, manufacturing, quality and maintenance module in electronics component carrier line and to provide actionable insights for successful implementation of Industry 4.0 initiatives in the Indian manufacturing environment, ultimately driving sustainable growth and innovation in the industry.
