Abstract
This thesis deals with the comparison of surface roughness dividing walls created by the AWJ technology in terms of sliding speed on the basis of analytical information from the surface divided material through the shadow method. It describes the influence of sliding speed cutting head on the main geometric parameters of the surface created by dividing hydroabrasive technology and design the optimal sliding speeds derived using topographical function. It is also made a comparison of surface roughness in relation to the sliding speed and values derived from topographic function are compared with prediction values calculated by relation from the authors Kim and Zeng. The proposed mathematical relation to calculate the optimal sliding speed of cutting head should help to automate and thereby increase the efficiency of AWJ technology in current practice.
