Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with a design of a new technology for the production of a padle wheel. The first part of the thesis describes the distribution of plastic materials and their characteristics. Furthermore, the first part of the thesis deals with plastics processing technologies. The second part of the thesis is practical. It describes the materials used for products in Belt Plast s.r.o. This includes product design, description of component material, both cutting and machine tools employed, and machining technology. The component is designed, programmed, and produced in the company environment. The complete technical documentation including the component drawing, the technological procedure and the adjustment sheet for the manufactured part is supplied with the product. The final result is the technical and economic evaluation of the padle wheel production.
