Abstract
This diploma thesis consists of theoretical part. The main topic is about social insurance of Czech Republic and Slovak Republic. This thesis contains basic definitions of social insurance. The effort of the author is to evaluate and to suggest changes of social system in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. The author subscribes every system in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic of social insurance individually and also she mentions differences between the social insurance in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. This diploma thesis contains suggestions for changes in the social insurance in both of these countries.
