Abstract

Purpose of this thesis is design of wood-blocking device propelled by tractor through cardan axle. Wood-blocking devices are used for effective processing of branches that remains after tree debranching. In first part is dealt with possibilities and classification of wood-blocking devices, their drive principle and usage with consequent design proposal. Practical part devotes to requirements machine must fulfil, and options to carry out these requirements. Based on given parameters strength and bearing lifetime calculations are perfor ed, fine element method analysis and breakdown is made with listing of parts the device consists of. Documentation and blue-prints in scope of 2x A0 were made at the end.
