Abstract
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the development, design, and ballistic properties of military rifle ammunition. The theoretical part deals with the historical development and principles of ballistics. In the analytical part, selected cartridges are compared based on their ballistic coefficient, kinetic energy, accuracy, and terminal performance. The results demonstrate that ammunition effectiveness is determined by a complex interaction of multiple factors.
