Abstract

This master thesis deals with the design of Automation of Ripsaw Feeder. Part of this thesis is a survey of woodworking industry in Czech republic. In the next charter provils an overview of current status of wood processing. In the solution is described automatic cycle and design of conveyors. There is also a design of electic motors with gearboxes, electrical equipment and pneumatic components. Pneumatic components are selected on the basis of calculation and checked for flow permeability. Assembly drawings of conveyors and pneumatic diagram are included.
