Abstract

Bachelor thesis is dealing with Air freight transport and planned development of air freight transport at Leoš Janáček Ostrava Airport. The introduction mentions a brief history of the development of Ostrava Airport in freight transport. This part is followed by the determination of the necessary documentation for air freight transport and the characteristics of the process of handling cargo flights. The main part of the work is devoted to the characteristics of current state of equipment and infrastructure of Ostrava Airport. The output is the proposed solutions for the development of the airport in the air freight segment. The main chapter is devoted to the design of the cargo terminal. The proposed solutions are economically evaluated, and their business benefits are presented. The result of the work is a summary of possible proposed solutions for Ostrava Airport in the field of freight transport development
