Abstract

This bachelor's thesis is focused on the design and production technology of a modified reaction catch of the drum brake shield of a Jawa 50 motorcycle type 21. As part of the practical part, the geometry of the parts was modified in the Autodesk Inventor CAD system in order to eliminate local stress concentration and minimize the risk of fatigue cracks in critical areas. The proposed modifications are verified using a strength analysis that compares the stress state of the original and modified parts. The technological part of the thesis specifies the choice of the semi-finished product and cutting tools. The output is a technological production procedure and a program for a three-axis CNC milling machine.
