Abstract
This master's thesis deals with the design, optimization, and strength analysis of the autonomous train control panel cover opening. The thesis was assigned by the company Siemens Mobility, a branch office in Ostrava. In the first, the thesis shows how assigned interior surfaces were divided and the creation of remaining design elements. Kinematic design and explanation of the mechanism working follow. In the next step, the mechanism of the cover opening is verified in a closed and open position using finite element analysis with given loads. Finally, the results of all components, which are important for evaluation, are presented, and it is shown that all meet specified requirements.
