Charakterizace mechanických vlastností bimetalových spojů vyrobených technologií DED

Abstract

The bachelor’s thesis deals with the issue of additive manufacturing of metals using the Directed Energy Deposition technology. The theoretical part describes principles of DED technology, its variants, and the influence of process parameters on resulting properties of manufactured components. The experimental part focuses on design and fabrication of test specimens using DED technology with a wire feed system on the Meltio M600 device. The specimens are subsequently subjected to post-processing, including separation from the substrate and machining to the required dimensions according to the relevant standard for tensile testing. Finally, mechanical properties of the produced bimetallic specimens were evaluated based on tensile test results, and the influence of the material combination on their behaviour under load was assessed.
