Abstract

This bachelor thesis is focused on preparation surfaces and surfaces before lapping process. Introduction of this thesis is the analysis of the current state of the lapping process. The theoretical part deals with the concept of surface integrity and describes the individual components of surface integrity. The first part is a theoretical analysis of the lapping process. They are listed here and described lapping methods, machines, tools and resources for lapping. The experimental part is focused on preparing surfaces before the process of lapping and lapping process, which is applied to a given component.
