Abstract

This Master thesis deals with the issue of safety in air transport and follows the bachelor thesis, which was published in 2011. It consists of two basic parts - the text part and the educational program. The text part consist of four chapters and presents different approaches and methods to ensure safety especially in view of the carrier. The following issues are discussed: flight data monitoring program, transportation of dangerous goods, crew resource management and crew planning. The thesis is beautifully descriptive and understandable to the wider public without aviation education. The content of educational program, which was created as part of the previous work was extended, but the interactive content that makes the chapters more attractive and facilitates understanding of the issues has been preserved. Also sets of test questions, including the key to verify the acquired knowledge were added.
