Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of copy milling of surface finishing. An analysis of the current offer of milling tools of competing companies is performed in this work. After that, the three geometries of Dormer Pramet replaceable inserts are compared. In the experimental part of the work is performed a functional test of machining X2CrNiMo17-12-2 and X38CrMoV5-1, using cutting tools from Dormer Pramet. Attention is focused on the roughness of the machined surface and the wear on the back on the inserts after milling. The conclusion is a technical and economic evaluation.
