Abstract
The paper presents the results of experimental research that dealt with the substitution of fi nely ground blast furnace
slag for Portland cement in the course of simple concrete manufacturing. Physical and mechanical properties
of experimental concrete mixtures based on fi nely ground blast furnace slag were observed.
