The diploma thesis is about the projecting of suitable mechanized steel thick-walled girders welding technology. At the beginning is described the reason of using the mechanical welding process. The first part of the diploma thesis is focused on the nowdays technology of steel thick-walled girders welding and on the selection of welds proper for mechanization. The analysis of possible mechanized welding alternatives inlcuding the breakdown of acquisition investments, the selection of appropriate technology and also the project and implementation of pilot welding joint for the expertise of the choosed welding process are desribed in the next parts of the diploma thesis. The result is the economical comparison of choosed welding process with actual girders welding technology.
