Abstract

Title of the thesis: Winning and Selection of Employees through the Personnel Agency Author of the thesis: Bc. Zuzana Hadašová The thesis deals with problems of selection and winning the employees through the personnel agency. The aim of the thesis is to find out whether it is appropriate to find help and to make use of personnel agencies, to gain a survey about employers’ requirements on applicants who are seeking a position through personnel agencies and about the main factors affecting successfulness or unsuccessfulness of job applicants. The thesis is divided into two basic parts. In the theoretical part the reader is acquainted with the main terms. The term selection and winning of employees is explained first from the general aspect, with the help of books and then with the help of the unemployment law. The practical part is focused on an inquiry through an interview with the agent of the personnel agency. The emphasis is put on the whole activity of the personnel agency, its main services, difficulty, advantages for clients (of the firm), and for job applicants. The expenses and turnovers are objectively evaluated. With the help of the theoretical and practical knowledge I made suggestions leading to the quality rise of the whole process of cooperation the personnel agency with cliental firms and job applicants which are going to lead to the mutual satisfaction.
