Abstract

Main topic of this Bachelor thesis is design of injection mold for polymer injections. The introductory part describes the basic division of polymer materials, types of filler materials and filling additives of polymers. Then are described injection molding conditions for injection molds. This is followed by the division of injection sprues, injection mold cooling and their ejection from the mold. The practical part of bachelor thesis also includes the design of injection molds, which is elaborated into details. It describes the process from customer requirements, mold design, the concept of this tool to testing on injection molding machine. The last part evaluates the mold injection and determines whether the customer's requirements have been met. The evaluation is also the conclusion of the bachelor thesis.
