Abstract

The purpose of this work is compare results between classic interpolation methods and stochastic simulation of Methane and Carbone Dioxide in Orlová. In the theoretic part are information about the issue of mine gases - Methane and Carbon Dioxide, their particularity and how they can cause to human health also on nature. Furthermore, in theoretic part are information about stochastic simulation and classic interpolation. In the practical part is described the method works in the selected software. The parameters for selecting the correct software have been elected if the program could create semivariogram, perform exploratory data analysis(EDA) also stochastic simulation. The other parameter was, if the software is open source or closed source. Selected and used software is ArcMap. Contribution of this work is to design addressing this issue using a stochastic simulation that delivers over classic interpolation methods many benefits.
