Abstract
This diploma thesis deals problems of tool life tests of ceramic cutting tools at interrupted cut at turning.
The work is sight to summary of cutting materials, their application areas in introduction. Special chapter is presentation of ceramics cutting tools. Next chapter are described individual types tests at interrupted cut.
For this a test was enjoyment method of monitoring of shock numbers at slide turning at interrupted cut simulator. It was measured 4 types of ceramics cutting from producer ISCAR, 2 oxide ceramic (IN11, IN22) and 2 silicon nitride based (IS8, IS80). Machined materials were steel 12 050 (C45) and 15 128 (13MoCrV6).
At last chapter work are the evaluation of measuring data, where were monitoring of shock numbers at different combination parameter of cutting. The diploma thesis is documented with graphical relations and pictures of cutting insert’s tool wear.
