The Master's thesis deals with the design of a backpressure steam turbine for the drive of the feed pump. It is divided into several parts. The introductory part describes the principle of steam turbines and their classification. The next chapter introduces the spectrum of use of steam turbines. Then power options of feed pumps follow. The most comprehensive chapter is devoted to the design and calculation of a backpressure turbine and an integrated gearbox. Then follows the design of the outlet diffuser parameters. At the end of the thesis there are some of the main design solutions. The thesis includes an annex with a technical documentation.
