Abstract
The Master thesis deals with the optimization of assembly process in the Esko Brno
company. The main objective of this thesis is optimization the assembly process, the
creation of assembly instruction and the introduction of a standard work at operation of
final assembly of V24 cutting table. The theoretical part is devoted to explaining the
needed basic concepts of lean manufacturing tools. The practical part focuses on the
analysis of the current state of the assembly process, the evaluation and design changes
that lead to process optimization. The last part is devoted to evaluate the benefits of the
proposed measures.
