Abstract
At present, in most industries, ever higher demands are being placed on machine parts. For this reason, better properties of the materials from which they are made are required. Such materials are called superalloys. Nickel-based superalloys have high corrosion resistance, good heat resistance and heat resistance at high temperatures. Superalloys are materials that, due to their specific properties, can be used under extreme conditions. Their disadvantage may be deterioration in workability under given cutting conditions.
The Alloy 625 nickel alloy, marked according to ISO 15 156-3, was selected for experimental operation. This alloy is often used in the energy, aerospace and chemical industries. It is characterized by high strength and excellent corrosion resistance. For experimental milling of Alloy 625 was used CERAMIC END MILL cutting ceramic from CERAZUR material, because of it's excellent mechanical and physical properties and good prerequisites for machining super alloys.
The main objectives of the thesis will be to analyze the current state of machining of nickel superalloys. Verify using the experiment the suitability of using the tested cutting material. Track and evaluate surface quality, tool destruction, and overall milling progress. Suggest recommendation for adjusting input parameters for future milling.
