Abstract
This thesis titled "Manipulating cart with a scissor platform" deals with the design of manipulating cart, which consists of the lower frame, the upper frame and the lifting mechanism. The introduction presents the overview of possible ways of manipulation with sheet metal coils of various sizes and weights. Layout of cart follows in other part of thesis. Included are three hydraulic cylinders, each with a maximum force of 401 960 N at a pressure of 20 MPa. With regard to the maximum force that the cylinders are able to develop, the analytical method carries out the strength check of critical points. Testing of some of the components is done with the finite element method in Ansys Workbench.
