Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with an innovated solution for the drive mechanism for the telescopic column of medical devices. The introduction of this thesis provides a current solution and five possible types of lifting mechanisms, including their advantages and disadvantages. Furthermore, main parts of the innovated solution are described. Calculation part deals with the kinematic equations of motion affecting bolts. In the calculation part, welds, including chain fixtures and lifting elements, are also checked. Bearings are designed in the last part of the calculation part. Assembly drawing and welding drawing, as well as working drawing of external element, are included in this thesis.
