Abstract
The thesis deals with the topic of distributed control system. It uses components of standard systems, whose designed architecture forms the complex control system. In its design for technology control, it is first and foremost important to test OPC communication between individual nodes of a distributed control system. First, a server-side configuration is described, including a test application with visualization that is created for the AC500 controller with its configuration tools. The next step is to provide OPC communication between the testing server with the simulation data and the client 800xA. Based on ensuring the functionality of these sub-sections, a demonstration application is created which shows how to manage a distributed control system. The demonstration application is to ensure the control of the local operator workplace by the AC500 controller with visualization and subsequent distribution of data to the central system 800xA. In this system there is created a graphical visualization of the central operator workplace.
