Návrh výpočetního nástroje pro optimalizaci využití regálového systému vybrané logistické společnosti

Abstract

The Master’s thesis deals with the methodology of design of a computational tool for optimizing the use of a racking system for a selected logistics company. The introduction presents the theoretical foundations of the issue. Based on theoretical knowledge and analysis of storage processes in a warehouse of the selected logistics company, a computational tool is designed to optimize the use of the racking system and current storage processes. The proposed algorithm of the computational tool is subsequently verified and validated using data obtained from real warehouse operations. The computational tool can serve as a basis for the development of information systems and contribute to the further development of the digitalization of warehouse management. The file with the computational tool is part of the appendices of the Master’s thesis.
