Abstract

This bachelor thesis covers using of metallurgical gas from the production of zinc for elec-tricity and heat production. The description and characteristics of metallurgical gases have been contained in the theoretical part of this thesis. Another part is about comparing of these gases to natural gas and describing gas purifica-tion devices. Due to low quality of the metallurgical gas, mixed gas will become a fuel for the cogenera-tion unit.
