Abstract
The thesis deals with the optimization of the DRECE method for extrusion a sheet sample of TRIP steel. The introductory part of the thesis describes high-strength steels, their applications with a specific focus on TRIP steel. Furthermore, the principle of SPD (severe plastic deformation) is described along with methods of its application for the production of ultra-fine grained materials. Additionally, among these methods, the DRECE method is also described. In the practical part of this thesis, an experiment investigating the effect of the number of passes of the DRECE method on TRIP 690 steel is described. The samples were examined for hardness, microhardness, and were subjected to metallographic analysis. The results of the experiment are evaluated in the conclusion of the thesis.
