Hodnocení konkurenceschopnosti vybraného podniku

Abstract

Cílem diplomové práce je zhodnotit konkurenceschopnost vybraného podniku. Teoretická část je zaměřena na východiska a vybrané metody a postupy související s hodnocením konkurenceschopnosti. Jako základní metody jsou v práci použity externí a interní analýza podnikatelského prostředí (PESTEL analýza, Porterův model pěti konkurenčních sil), portfolio analýza (matice BCG), finanční analýza a analýza SWOT. V praktické části jsou v souladu s teoretickými východisky analyzována data společnosti FARMAK, a.s. získaná v přípravné fázi z veřejně dostupných i interních zdrojů. Rozsahem tyto vstupní informace pokrývají období posledních pěti a více let. Závěry vyplývající z provedených analýz jsou shrnuty metodou SWOT a slouží následně jako základ pro poslední část práce věnované doporučení pro vlastníky a manažery společnosti.

The goal of the diploma thesis is the evaluation of the competitiveness of the selected company. The theoretical part is focused on the fundamentals and selected methods and techniques related to the evaluation of the competitiveness. As the basic methods are used external and internal business environment analysis (PESTEL analysis, Porter´s five forces model), portfolio analysis (matrix BCG), financial analysis and SWOT analysis. In the practical part there are analyzed data of the company FARMAK, a.s., as obtained in the preparatory phase from the publicly available and internal sources. This input of the informations is covering the last five years and more. All the conclusions resulting from the analyzes are summarized by SWOT analysis and subsequently this summary is used as a basis for the part of the thesis dealing with the recommendations for owners and managers of the company.
