Abstract

HURTA, Ondřej. Mechanical alternative to “Pick-and-Place”. Ostrava, 2025. Master thesis. University of Mining and Metallurgy – Technical University of Ostrava. Thesis supervisor doc. Ing. Jiří Fries, Ph.D. The thesis deals with the topic of the mechanical alternative “Pick-and-Place”. In the introduction, the general theory of the topic is described, i.e. types of assembly lines and handling mechanisms plus a description of the current solution whose alternative is the aim of this thesis. Then, in the practical part, the specific design of the individual parts of the mechanism is already described. Firstly, the necessary calculations for the actual design on the basis of which the cams and rods are designed as the basic structural elements of the mechanism. Finally, a 3D simulation is included in the appendix to verify the functionality of the mechanism. And lastly, the complete production documentation is prepared.
