Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the design of a lifting device for a tractor hitch with a maximum load capacity of 750 kg and a lifting height of 2 meters. The literature review section describes and classifies various types of lifting and handling equipment, along with a classification of the different types of drives suitable for this project. This is followed by the design of the lifting device and a detailed description of the design. The thesis also includes a strength analysis of the device’s supporting structure using the finite element method (FEM) and a durability analysis of the bearing mounted on the supporting structure. An assembly drawing of the lifting device and manufacturing drawings of selected components have been prepared for the proposed design.
