Měření a modelování statických charakteristik proudění vody ve ventilu

Abstract

Thesis deals with laboratory measurement and numeric simulation of water in control valve VG40 PN160 developed by company ARMATURY GROUP a.s. It contains a comprehensive survey of the literature, defining main factors, static characteristic of control valve. According to the standards, methodology of measuring static characteristics and cavitation was described. In the next section, mathematical models and turbulence are identified for numerical modeling. In laboratory measurements according to standard IEC 60534-2-3, the valve was measured at several strokes, where on each stroke had set several flow. Static characteristics and coefficients were determined from measured values, which served to define the boundary conditions in numerical simulation performed in ANSYS – FLUENT. Also the simulation methodology was described for this topic. In conclusion, this work compares the results of simulations and laboratory measurements.
