Analýza odporu vzduchu vybraného kolejového vozidla

Abstract

The aim of the master thesis is to use simulation tools to analyze the air resistance on selected rail vehicle. The first part contains theoretically described matters of fluid mechanics, especially the body circumfluence, aerodynamics and vehicle resistances. The second part deals with creating a model of the rail vehicle and the program in which it was created. The next part deals with simulations of effect that air has on the vehicle and the program in which the simulations are performed. The obtained simulation results are then evaluated and compared with the value obtained by manual calculations.
