Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the current materials used in the automotive industry. The first part is devoted to the general trends in car body production, the second is devoted to welding technology and technology for the strength and visible joints in general. The rest of the thesis deals with specific materials and technologies used in practice, which relate to the given problems, and it is a practical part. The final part of the thesis including a test of the use of new material with verification of the usability of the existing technology, testing laboratories and evaluations and, if appropriate, the drafting of the production technology so that the resulting link meets all required criteria.
