Abstract
Bachelor thesis is focused on determining the concentration of atmospheric nitrogen deposition with using mosses as bioindicators by elemental analysis in the Ostrava – Karviná agglomeration and the border areas of Poland. Results of the analysis are presented in the form of maps and based of the detected distribution of nitrogen are identified factors that most influencennitrogen concentration in moss. Conducted research confirmed a major impact on species of moss nitrogen concentration in moss. In the context of multivariate linear regression analysis was performed to determine the coefficient of determination R2 = 0,48. Correlation analysis revealed the factors that most affect the spatial distribution of atmospheric deposition of nitrogen in moss in a given area. The factors are: agricultural areas within a radius of 0.5 kilometers (32%), short-term precipitation totals (28%), agricultural areas within a radius of 5 kilometers (24%) and forest areas (21%). Achieved results have predictive relevant value within territory established on area 40 x 40 km with respect to species of moss and methodology of collecting and preparing samples of moss.
