Abstract

This thesis describes design of cooling device applicated to animal tissue. The design of hypothermic device is intended for horse tibial tendons cooling. In the research part of the thesis there are introduced applications of hypothermia and present ways of its technical implementation. Necessary cooling output of the device has been determined by experiment. After further specification of requirements there are function structure and morphologic matrix made. In the end a concept was chosen which was worked out into pure structure blueprint, which can be found in annex of the tesis.
