Bachelor’s thesis deals with reliability of city transport vehicles evaluation. In the introduction there are described the terminology and principles that characterize reliability. Reliability is represented by random variables and their proper distribution (Exponential, Waibull’s). According to experimental data provided by transport companies, which handle bus transport, two types of buses are compared. The random variables which define the reliability and the predicted technical condition of the vehicle are described. For better comparison of the bus producers also the reliability of particular components of the vehicle is compared. In conclusion, the vehicles are rated economically and the estimated yearly expenses for service are evaluated.
