Abstract
Bachelor thesis deals with a design and optimization of a workplace for cutting threads into the face of aluminium profiles in a company called CBG AUTOMATION s.r.o. The introduction describes the main goals and requirements of a workplace with respect to specified parameters. Based on the requirements, main calculation parameters are established, from which a main drive and its attachment to the frame is designed. Then, with emphasis on long lifespan and price, a mechanical transmission leading from a drive shaft to a shaft of thread-cutting spindle is designed. From mechanical transmission’s output parameters, the shaft of a thread cutting spindle is designed along with a threading reverse head, which is the main part of thread cutting construction. Finally, a cover for all rotating elements is designed with the goal of ensuring safety of the workers. An optimized workplace increases productivity and safety during the thread cutting process. The final structure, including production drawings, is documented in the enclosure of the bachelor thesis.
