Abstract

This Bachelor thesis deals evaluation of the new technology ultrasonic of resistence spot welds. First part of the Bachelor thesis is focused on theory of resistance spot welding, quality requirements of spot welding joints and its testing. Second part of the Bachelor thesis is focused on samples testing. The quality of spot welding joints was evaluated by means of ultrasound technology Epoch 600 and Frankie 2. Methods were compared mutually. The chisel test was made on the sample and also test of the microstructure was made. Both methods were evaluated from the costs and time savings points of view.
