Abstract

The thesis deals with the application of project management principles in addressing the renovation of a slat conveyor used for removing chips from a machining tool. The theoretical part presents the basic principles of project management and the characteristics of the IPMA methodology. This is followed by an analysis of the current situation in the selected company, which serves as a basis for the proposed project solution. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to the processing of the chain conveyor renovation project in accordance with the principles of project management, including the creation of a structure of activities, a time schedule, the determination of project team responsibilities, and a risk analysis. Based on the results obtained, recommendations are proposed to improve project management and more effective project implementation in the company.
