Abstract

This bachelor work deals with the significance of gear oil as a constructional element when designing industrial geared transmissions. The theoretical part of the work focuses on the description and significance of friction, oiling, on the types and properties of oils, on gear sets features and last but not least on tribodiagnostics methods. The practical part of the work brings the results of measurements carried out in the cooperation with TOTAL ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA s.r.o. The proposal of suitable oil for TS 03 0411 gearbox with spur and bevel gears being used for coal conveyer drive at Úpravna uhlí, Komořany is described in details.
